Mission and Values
Vision
Our vision is to partner with parents to raise up disciples of Christ.
Mission
Our mission is to teach our children so that they will be disciples of Christ who know God’s Word, love Him intimately, and walk in His ways. We want to involve, equip, and nurture parents. As we labor and pray together, we depend on God for the increase. (Deut 11:22)
Values
We resolve to promote:
- God's Dependency – We believe that we parent, teach, and grow by God’s Spirit. Even when we teach children to walk in His ways, it will be by His power. (I Cor 3:6, Ps 127:1)

- Gospel-Centered Teaching – We believe that we should strive to teach the centrality of the Gospel in every lesson. (Eph 2:8-9, Gal 2:20)
- Parent-Empowerment – We believe that Scripture teaches that parents are chiefly responsible for the spiritual instruction of children. (Deut 6:7, Eph 6:4)
- Scripture – We believe that the love and faith our children have for God will be based on clear accurate understanding of who God is as revealed in His Holy Scriptures. This is accomplished by age-appropriate teaching. (2 Tim 3:15-16, 1 Cor 10:11)
- Life-Change – We believe it is not sufficient to just know the Scripture, but we must also promote obeying the Scripture and having a vital relationship with God. (Matt 7:24-27, John 14:21)
- Reaching the Unreached – We believe God wants us to reach the unreached and instill this value to our children. (Matt 28:19-20)
Scriptural Basis
Deut 11:18-23
18“Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.
22“For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do—to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him— 23then the LORD will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves.
I Cor 3:6
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
Psalm 127:1
Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.
Eph 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Gal 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Deut 6:7
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
Eph 6:4
And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
2 Tim 3:15-17
15and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
1 Cor 10:11
Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
Matt 7:24-27
24“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
John 14:21
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
Matt 28:19-20
18And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 2 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
